Internationalization is one of the goals of our department. Starting in 2000, several graduate courses have been conducted in English. Our department is to admit international graduate students, under the permission of the Ministry of Education and Tamkang University. In 2014, a new English-taught Master’s Program is built.

In the past few years, the department faculties have carried out several joint research projects with partners in Hong Kong, Japan, China, Russia, Canada, and other countries. In addition, our faculty members frequently travel overseas to share and exchange professional expertise and experiences with researchers from other countries.

Moreover, the department also regularly hosts international conferences/workshops and invites world-renowned scholars to provide esteemed lectures. Students may also choose to apply for overseas exchange programs to further broaden their horizons and enhance their international experience.

Current, we still work hard to build up the department’s reputation in the international community.
