More than 2,000 TKU students have completed their junior abroad studies around the world since 2005. Starting from academic year 2021, the English-taught bachelor\u2019s degree program in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) was established, which inherits the past experience from the Department of Innovative Information and Technology (IIT). A student stays at one of the partner universities for one year, experiences a different local culture, and studies with people from other countries. In addition to developing in the professional discipline, we expect our students to cultivate their global vision through the process. We have a few closely cooperated partners that provides featured study approaches:<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The 2+2 <span style=\"font-family: Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Grande,sans-serif;\">program with <\/span>Winona State University: this is a dual b<span style=\"font-family: Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Grande,sans-serif;\">achel<\/span>or\u2019s degree program. A student studies in TKU for two years, studies in WSU for the one-year junior study abroad, and extends the study for one more year in WSU. Fulfilling the graduation requirements in the 2+2 agreement, the student receives bachelor&#8217;s degrees from TKU and WSU.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The (to-be) 3+2 program with Temple University: this is a bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree. A student studies in TKU for three years and studies in TU for two years. Fulfilling the graduation requirements in the 3+2 agreement, the student receives the bachelor\u2019s degree from TKU and the master\u2019s degree from TU.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The Overall Process of Junior Study Abroad<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Depending on the partner university a student would like to go to, the detailed process would vary. Here is the overall process for your reference. Please note that all the process should be done by the student (the teachers are the advisors).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Application Process<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">English proficiency test<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Get the score before the application starts (typically in the October of the second year)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Choose the partner university<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Hand in the English proficiency test result<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Book one partner university for study abroad<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Contact the advising professor<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Get the detailed information<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prepare the application
